Project: Reconstruction of the Nursery Group within Kindergarten No. 103.
Project: The Future of Students: “Smart and Sustainable Dormitories” – Construction of a Student Residence
The project proposes a modern collective housing development, defined by a contemporary brick volumetry, highlighted by a generous glazed entrance that ensures a fluid transition between the exterior and interior spaces. The building functions as a complete educational and social ecosystem, integrating co-working areas, reading rooms, multifunctional spaces for sports activities, and food preparation facilities. The dialogue with the exterior is essential, with the ground floor organically connected to the generous green space. The design emphasizes pedestrian mobility and the quality of open space, offering a balance between the functional rigor of the accommodation program and the students’ need for interaction.

Project: Școala „Mihai Ionescu”; Biserica Labirint
On a compact 1,336 m² urban plot in central Bucharest, a century-old Adventist community rebuilt its home from scratch — church and school together, in a single six-storey structure. The original building was structurally unsafe and stripped of its identity through decades of interventions. Demolition was contested. The community's resistance became part of the design process: salvaged bricks now form a memory wall at the church entrance; the original wooden balustrade marks the threshold between the everyday and the sacred; recovered timber was crafted into liturgical furniture; an organ assembled from three historic instruments gives the hall its voice. The building holds a column-free church hall doubling as a school auditorium, laboratories lit by light courts below grade, flexible classrooms, a rooftop terrace, and shared spaces negotiated between two institutions with different rhythms and needs. Post-tensioned slabs, a coffered concrete ceiling, and a ceramic facade in three registers reconcile the sacred and the educational — in material, in scale, and in time

Project: Multifunctional Center Resita.
The building is organized as two main volumes connected by a generous central lobby that acts as the spatial and social core of the project. One volume contains a multifunctional sports hall designed to accommodate various activities such as sports events, performances, and community gatherings. Above the hall, a gallery level provides space for spectators, allowing visitors to watch events from an elevated position while maintaining a strong visual connection to the main floor. The second volume houses complementary functions, including offices, conference rooms, and workshop spaces that support educational, administrative, and collaborative activities. A shared kitchen is also integrated into this wing, enabling the building to host larger events and community programs. Between the two volumes, the large lobby serves as the main entrance and circulation area.

Project: Scoala Varlaam, Iasi. The project is under construction, including SP / Masterplan.
This talk reflects on the architecture of learning environments through the experience of a multi-phase invited competition for a new educational campus. Instead of presenting the project only as a final object, it focuses on the process through which an architectural concept is tested and transformed by site conditions, programmatic demands, budget, technical constraints, and implementation logic. It examines how educational architecture can move beyond functional compliance or formal expression, becoming a coherent spatial response to a pedagogical vision. The presentation addresses the school as an organized environment for learning, interaction, orientation, flexibility, and identity, and discusses how architectural decisions can support not only use, but also culture, belonging, and long-term adaptability

Project: House of three. The project was designed in such a way as to enhance the landscape, to communicate with the nature from any point, so that these volumes resulted as a form of coverage of the interior spaces, which have generous openings to the outside.
Project: Cultural Hub. Characteristically we can identify a mixture of medium and modest standard dwellings, a diffuse traditional texture with contemporary inserts, with architectural changes that do not take into account regulations and in general buildings that are not maintained or improved from an architectural point of view.

Project: ZHA Education and Cultural Building overview, with focus on NSC Science Center in Singapore
Informed by the sequence of logical inter-relationships that are the foundations of science teaching, the New Science Centre’s design establishes a network of five interlocking rectilinear volumes housing a variety of exhibition galleries, interactive labs, and event spaces in addition to the restaurant, café, shops, administrative offices, archives, and service areas. Each of the five interconnecting volumes has been precisely orientated to enhance the relationships between the centre’s interior and exterior spaces while also preserving the existing natural woodlands along the lakeshore. With striated polished aluminium panels that reflect the ever-changing Singaporean skies, the centre defines a series of public courtyards and biophilic gardens serving as educational outdoor laboratories that lead towards Jurong Lake and the pagoda within the existing Chinese Gardens. Located at the intersections of its five rectilinear volumes, the entrance and circulation spaces include a 30m-high central atrium hall designed to become a popular new gathering place for the city.
