Since 2014, I have been teaching and been a part of Kadir Has University, Art and Design Faculty, under an Assistant Professor position in Architecture Department, since 2023. I am currently teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on: building materials and technologies, detail design, human-centred design, environmentalism and circularity.

Short overview: Alvin Huang is an award-winning architect, designer, and educator. He is the Founder and Principal of Synthesis Design + Architecture (SDA), an internationally recognized practice working across architecture, urbanism, and design research, with projects spanning Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Huang is also an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate and Post-Professional Architecture at the University of Southern California, where he has taught since 2011.

Short overview: He has designed a wide variety of architectural and urban projects, including housing, private residences, art installations, and experimental works with new materials and technologies across Europe, the USA, Asia, and beyond. His practice explores both architectural design and broader urban issues, combining creativity with technical innovation. Jadrić has been a dedicated educator at the TU Wien, Faculty of Architecture and Planning since 1997, shaping future architects with an interdisciplinary approach.

Short overview:  She served as a visiting researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, University of California, during the 2003–2004 academic year. In 2012–2013, she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and joined Roger Williams University’s School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation in Rhode Island as a Visiting Professor. Professor Ünlü’s research focuses on building technology, sustainable building systems, and construction.

Short overview:  Kim has worked on a range of projects in the Middle East, including a 45,000-seat stadium at New Murrabba in Riyadh, the Riyadh Metro Blue Line, and the iconic National Museum Metro Station. In the rail sector, Kim served as Lead Architect for the new HS2 Interchange Station in the West Midlands, UK—the first rail station in the world to achieve BREEAM Outstanding for Sustainability. Prior to ZHA, she worked freelance with studios in Barcelona, Rome and London.
